There are two main governing bodies of MaRDI:

The Board: administers and endorses the task area, including timelines and cooperation structures

The members represent all task areas and meet six times annually. They develop, manage and coordinate the research program.

The Council: maintains and develops the overall vision of MaRDI

The MaRDI Council comprises 30 members representing all applicant institutions. They have a wider interest in terms of makeup compared to the board.

The council members meet twice a year to discuss future developments and approve both the yearly budget plan and significant funding requests.
